Creative Copywriting

Selling online is not just about writing good copy, it is about getting noticed as well. This is where Creative Copy writing comes in. There is no point writing a great article or post if nobody is interested in reading it. So if you post to to Forums on your niche , message boards, e-mail discussion lists, or even classified ads sites, or newsgroups the subject line is the first thing people will read. Therefore, it is vital that this heading stands out or they will quickly move on to something that catches their eye. Here are some ideas to get you seen.

1. The first rule of creative copy writing : Don't cram your subject line full of words. In fact, add extra white space in your subject line. Also, you can Add Extra Blank Spaces between your words or letters if you want. As long as the end result is still legible it will be fine.

2. You must use believable facts in your subject line. I know myself if I see a headline "earn £25,000 by working 10 minutes a day from your home" I will skip this article and find one I can believe. (even if your product will do this don't use it to attract readers, they won't believe you).

3. What is a great creative copy writing tip? A great creative copy writing tip is to ask a question in your subject line. We all strive for knowledge and a few of us can leave a question unanswered and will read on to get the answer.

4. DO NOT USE CAPITALS THROUGHOUT YOUR COPY. It looks as if you are shouting at the reader. Mix Capital and Lower Case Letters. It is more natural and professional.

5. ***You could catch the readers eye ^^^by adding text +++symbols to the subject line, but as ever, don't over do it.***

6. STOP! Another eye catcher is the word STOP. We are conditioned into interpreting this word as danger or at least very important. People are curious and need to know why they have to stop.

7. Free! One of the most powerful eye catching words in copy writing. It jumps out and hits you bang between the eyes. Add a free gift on to what you are selling just so you can use this word in your subject line. It is worth it.

8. I hate Women drivers and Men who don't lift the toilet set. Use controversial statements to draw your readers attention.

9. Test your subject line, If your subject line does not work change a small detail and try again. Keep changing one detail until it is successful. Do not make more than one change at a time or you will not know which change made it work.

10. Keep them wanting more. Creative copy writing is all about making the reader hungry. Hungry for more information, hungry to visit your site, hungry to buy.
